Nowadays, people think that to have a nice get away they need a place far-away but, In Naga City, Camarines Sur (Bicol Region) you wouldn't worry of a perfect family get away that is just a few minutes away from the city.
Panicuason Hot Springs is the Hidden Get away of Naga City. It is just an hour away from the City. It is located at the Mt. Isarog National Park in Barangay Panicuason. The Hot Springs are located at the inside of the mountains so, we still need to go up the uphill paths and steep downhill paths but, we had a choice in going in there. We drove through there because we had service. Others rode the habal-habal that is cost P20 while others chose to walk the path which is 1.3km from the entrance to the hot springs.
When we got to the top, The view was breathtakingly beautiful. It was a paradise surrounded by the side of the mountain that was filled with vines, ferns, trees it was just beautiful! The place is very hidden and you could relax because they have no wi-fi connections, televisions, radio, not even a cellphone signal! It's really a place for getting away to the city life.
There we're 3 hot springs each with rising temperature and depth. The highest temp. was 39 degrees which is at about 5 feet. There we're Cold springs too and then the flowing river. I enjoyed the river the most. They didn't have much restrictions to swimming and taking pictures at the flowing river but they still have someone who is guarding you. There was also a mini food shack that serves some good Pancit, tinolan manok and adobo. They also have a adventure park that offers a lot of activities like zipline, zipike, trust fall, trekking and etc. There we're also hotels that you could stay the night in and a videoke bar at the side of the river for a night time fun.
The best thing I really like is the Big Hanging Bridge that helps you cross the river. It was beautiful and very relaxing to just sit into and look at the river flowing or look at the majestic view around you.
Panicuason Hot Springs and Nature Adventure Park is really a place I have to go back to. It's a place for relaxation, enjoyment and adventures.
